Claude skills you can download

Two small skills I keep in my own Claude Code setup. One turns meeting notes into a status draft. The other restarts a stuck dev server.

A skill is a small instruction file that teaches Claude Code how to do one job the same way every time. These are two I keep in my own setup. They are plain text, so you can read each one in a minute and change it to fit how you work.

sync-prep

Turns your meeting notes into a status draft or a prep note.

You paste or describe the notes from a meeting. The skill looks through your earlier drafts and your project notes for open action items and for anything that contradicts what you just said. Then it writes a draft in plain prose, ready to paste into an email or a chat message. Any new action items are listed at the end, and it asks whether you want to track them.

You can call it with /sync-prep, or just ask in plain language, like "prepare me for the Monday sync".

It never posts or sends anything. It writes the draft to a file, and you review it and send it yourself.

refresh-browser

Restarts a stuck dev server with a clean slate.

When something looks wrong and you suspect a stale cache, it stops the dev server, clears the cache folders and starts the server again. It waits until the server is ready and tells you the address. If the server fails to start, it reports the error and stops.

One thing to know before you use it: it stops whatever is running on ports 3000, 5173, 4321 and 8080, and it deletes cache folders such as .next/, dist/ and node_modules/.cache/. Make sure that is what you want in your project.

Install

Copy the folder of the skill you want into ~/.claude/skills/, then start a new Claude Code session.

git clone https://github.com/Pecosa/claude-skills.git
cp -r claude-skills/sync-prep ~/.claude/skills/
cp -r claude-skills/refresh-browser ~/.claude/skills/
